I have always had a love of the outdoors. Growing up in rural America, I had a chance to experience the beauty of nature through play, scouting, helping to run a small farm and the opportunity to take care of many animals in the process. It was only natural that when I got my first camera I would take to the element that I feel most comfortable, nature.
My husband and I travel the U.S. National Parks and beautiful Canada quite often. Plus, I live in one of the most photogenic river cities in America, Cincinnati, Ohio. The picture above is our Queen City at night.
After retiring from a career in education, my camera and I enjoy many wonderful adventures that may take me to the babbling creek behind my house or as far away as the Pacific Coast edge of Olympic National Park or Frenchman's Bay in Acadia National Park in Maine.
I love to share my adventures. I hope you enjoy seeing some of the lovely places and subtle beauty that is all around us through my photography.
